Hey friends!

I have added a 'donate' button where you can support my ministry. I was really struggling with the idea of putting a "donations" page on my blog for a couple reasons. 1: Seems like I'm asking for money and 2: My pride. I want to make money in any way possible now that I'm full-time Dad/Husband/Blogger/Artist/Pastor - but God reminded me that I am first a full-time servant of Christ.

Here are some passages that encourage believers to sow into ministries they believe in and support:

“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?... Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel." - 1 Corinthians 9:9-14

-"Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.” - 1 Timothy 5:17-18

- "Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." - Galatians 6:6-7

- "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you." - 2 Corinthians 9:7-14

I encourage you to not give under compulsion, but prayerfully consider supporting me in my quest to be a full-time minister of the Gospel of Christ. I appreciate if you even took the time to read this page.
